Army Photographers
This month, Soldier magazine have run a 2 page spread on the Army Photographic trade. It features an insight into the trade by Cpl Rupert Frere & short Q&A's from me & 3 other photographers.
Please take the time to have a read at the online version.
Steve trained to be a Professional Photographer at the Defence School of Photography, which is currently regarded as the best photographic training institute in the UK. This highly regarded training course spanned over eight months, which was the equivalent of two years at college.
Throughout his training, Steve learnt all photographic principles needed, starting from the properties of light, right through to portrait and PR photography. To date his work has been seen in various national newspapers and magazines across the globe.
Most recently, Steve has seen his work published in the Status Quo European Tour Brochure, Turning Pro magazine and has seen his imagery on display at the Imperial War Museum and Tate Modern Gallery in London.
Having worked in many dangerous conditions, on the streets of Afghanistan, Steve has adopted a very relaxed and methodical approach to his work.
Steve, who currently resides in Hampshire, enjoys the great outdoors and is continually trying to enhance and improve his passion for photography in his spare time.
